DESCRIPTION:Purdue Extension Health and Human Services Educator\, Jessica Riffle\, will be presenting a Diabetes 2-part series during December @ Kewanna Public Library.  Diabetes 101 will be given on Thursday\, December 3 @ 11:00\, and Diabetes 102 will be presented on Thursday\, December 17 @ 11:00.  \n\nThe 4 core management techniques will be taught\, during this Diabetes 2-part series.  They are nutrition\, physical activity\, blood sugar monitoring\, and medication.  A brief overview of medication differences & how they relate to blood sugar control will also be discussed.\n\nDiabetes 101 will focus on management strategies\, lifestyle modifications\, and the impact of the disease.  Diabetes 102 will cover nutrition\, holiday meals\, and label reading.  Everyone is welcome to attend this educational series.
