DESCRIPTION:The Rochester Optimist Club is once again hosting the third annual slinging of our "Pumpkin Chunkin Contest". We provide the plans & the pumpkins. This fantastic event engages the students to work with their hands (roughly 15 man-hours of work) & experience their creation first hand. Typically supplies run around $200.00. Points are scored by accuracy & distance. This friendly competition is now offering an "Open Class" to begin following the student competition. We hope to see you all there!
