Always the 2nd Saturday in October, local groups form teams to vie for the honor of having the best chili in Fulton County. Prizes are also awarded for “The People’s Choice” and “The Best Decorated Booth.”
While the chili is being prepared, tasted and judged, The Blacktop Cruisers Car Club hosts the famous Red Hot Car Show that was started by Sid & Judy DeVries in 1996.

Chili tastings start at 11:00 AM, lasting until the chili runs out and are on a FIRST come FIRST SERVE basis.

These events take place in downtown Rochester, Indiana around the Courthouse square.
Fees/Admission
Attendees must purchase a chili tasting punch card prior to participating. Each tasting cost 1 punch. Punches cost $1 and can be purchased in increments of $5 and $10. Punch cards can also be used towards hotdogs and beverage as the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce booth.
