The community is encouraged to contribute items that would make a meal. Consider donating a boxed grain, canned vegetables and proteins. Complement with soup, sauce, condiment or flavoring mix. Include fruit, like canned peaches, and/or something sweet to finish the meal. They cannot accept home-canned items, glass jars of food, items close to the use-by date, or expired foods.
