Dear Downtown building owner,
The City of Rochester and the Rochester Downtown Partnership (RDP) is preparing a grant application that has the potential to transform our Historic Downtown Rochester.
The grant is a Main Street Revitalization Program (MSRP) grant with the maximum of $500,000 that can be used for façade improvements to buildings in our downtown historic corridor. This is a completive grant administered by the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs (OCRA). In the past, grant recipients have been able to receive up to 80% match for building façade improvements.
Surrounding communities around us, such as Wabash, Warsaw and Plymouth have been able to jump start their revitalization efforts with similar grants.
In order to be successful we need to know your interest in participating.
We would like to invite you to an informative call out meeting on January 18th at 6:30pm. It will be held at The Other Side Banquet Room (Jarrety’s place) 701 Main St, Rochester.
During this meeting you will hear more about this grant process from our grant writer Steven Ray from NCIRPC and historic architect Pat Jacobs from ARCHitecture Trio.
Please plan to attend or send a representative.
If you have any questions please contact either of us below.
Regards
